© UNICEF/2009For the RUTF Supply Chain Articulation project, the following data sets were collected and used for data processing:

   - Shipment data from both UNICEF and the international transporter
   - Procurement data and costs of procurement
   - Production capacity, times, and cost
   - Customs processing times and costs
   - In-country transportation times
   - Warehouse locations and capacity
   - Distribution time from the warehouse

The following data were not available but would have been useful:

   - Data on transshipment times
   - Cost of local transportation
   - Per-order costs of in-country warehousing
   - Patent coverage
   - Price of RUTF inputs and ingredients

When possible, the data were checked for accuracy by cross-referencing data sets and by speaking to the stakeholder responsible for the data collection. The data were compiled into one spreadsheet for data processing.
